Everyone Lucy Hale Has Dated Over the Years

Though David Henrie was once rumored to be romancing his onscreen sister Selena Gomez, the "Wizards of Waverly Place" actor was actually dating Hale, who guest-starred on the series in 2007 as Henrie's love interest, Miranda. The pair dated for more than two years. When asked by J-14 back in 2014 if he would ever get back together with Hale, Henrie suggested that their relationship was purely platonic after their breakup. "No, we're friends. We're just buddies now," he said, so it seems as though they ended on good terms.

Soon after the premiere of "Pretty Little Liars," Hale sparked dating rumors with The Cab keyboard player Alex Marshall. Hale seemingly confirmed the relationship when she tweeted, "He bought me a rose," alongside a picture of the two of them in October 2010, but the two only lasted for a few months after that before going their separate ways.

Hale dated "The Amazing Spider-Man" actor Chris Zylka for about nine months before some cryptic tweets from Zylka suggested that the two were done. The duo first met at a New Year's Eve party, but when a fan tweeted at Zylka that his "girlfriend is gorgeous" in September 2012, Chris replied, "Don't have a girlfriend. She decided she was too good," per E!. Zylka later apologized in a series of tweets. "I'd like to apologize about my previous comments," he said, per Us Weekly. "Lucy is not only one of the most talented people I've ever had the pleasure of knowing, but also one the most beautiful, inside and out. Anyone who's ever watched, or had the pleasure of meeting her, knows this to be true."

In January 2018, Zylka got engaged to Paris Hilton, but they split later that year.

Hale was rumored to have dated actor Graham Rogers for three months in 2013. The actor first confirmed their relationship to Us Weekly in June 2013, telling them, "He is such a sweetheart. We are having a good time." The couple even went on a romantic trip to Hawaii together that July before splitting in September, per Us Weekly.

In 2014, Hale dated country singer Joel Crouse for a few months. The couple were first spotted together in April 2014 at a Lakers game, where Hale shared an Instagram pic of the two captioned, "First lakers game. Was really great teaching this one the rules of the game. And seeing him looking like a kid in a candy store @joelcrouse." The pair split that June, and a source told Us Weekly at the time that it was due to the distance and Hale's work demands.

Another past flame for Hale was Lawson drummer Adam Pitts, whom she was first seen in public with in September 2014 while the two held hands and shopped together in Beverly Hills, per photos published by the Daily Mail. Though no breakup was ever announced, the last public sighting for the two was in March 2015.

Hale was in a two-year relationship with musician Anthony Kalabretta starting in 2015. 2017. Reports broke in 2017 that they had split, and fans noticed Hale had deleted their Instagram pics together. That July, she tweeted a photo of them in front of a helicopter, but it's unclear if they had rekindled their romance or were just reconnecting as friends.

Hale reportedly dated Riley Smith for a few months in 2018. The "Life Sentence" costars were first spotted kissing on Valentine's Day in 2018, per Us Weekly. The CW canceled "Life Sentence" in May, and Us Weekly reported their split that July.

Hale briefly ignited new dating rumors when she was seen holding hands with actor Ryan Rottman in 2018, but little more was heard about the potential couple after that initial sighting.

Hale was briefly linked to "Bachelor" star Colton Underwood in July 2020, shortly after his split from Cassie Randolph. At the time, E! News reported that Underwood and Hale went on a couple of "casual dates," but nothing was serious. Underwood later came out as gay.

In February 2021, Hale sparked romance rumors with Skeet Ulrich after they were spotted kissing and holding hands in LA. Months later, a source told E! that she was single after their brief romance.

Hale did address their relationship during her podcast interview with Bilson this January and praised dating older men (they have a 19-year age gap). "I loved it. No bullsh*t, almost," she said. She added that she still has her dating apps set with an age range of 27 to 50.
